The earth is art, the photographer is only a witness
Yann Arthus-Bertrand, Earth from Above
Hi, I’m Lauren — a Licensed Veterinary Technician from Southern Maine whose love for animals has always been the heartbeat behind my art. My passion for photography began in high school, and truly flourished in college while working on a dairy farm. That experience inspired me to capture the beauty, strength, and dedication within the dairy industry and the people behind it.
My work focuses on portraiture and documentary-style photography — capturing honest, heartfelt moments that tell the stories of farmers, families, and their animals. Before my camera, it was pencil and paper; I spent years bringing pets to life through detailed graphite portraits and now express that same devotion through watercolor, blending emotion, memory, and color.
As an affiliate photographer with The Tilly Project, I’m profoundly honored to offer end-of-life and memory sessions for beloved pets. These sessions are quiet celebrations of love — a chance to pause, honor, and hold onto the bond that words can’t fully express. Each image is created with care, compassion, and a deep understanding of what it means to love and let go.
I look forward to connecting with you and helping tell your story — one image, one memory, one moment at a time.
